Day Two - Mountains to Desert

70 Miles to El Centro, CA. We climbed mountains in the morning, made it to 3,940 feet elevation before a 6 mile down hill cruise into the desert! Today was brutal, never felt such heat, it was 117 degrees! Skipped the campground and stayed at a hotel to get some rest!

For a time we rode along the Mexican border, the border fence is in the attached photo. It was amazing to see!

    Looks like your both doing great! HOpe all is well. Drink plenty of fluids in the 90 degree dry heat. SIncerely your freinds on the 3rd floor of the Twinsburg FHC.
